Thanks to everyone who attended our opening night last month!
We had our opening night to celebrate and introduce our friends and clients to the new training venture on the 25th February. Attended by a large group of our existing and new clients, as well as our colleagues in industry and one or two celebs the event was well received by everyone. We’d especially like to thank the amazing Georgia who sang for us as well as the super Cassi Gillespie and Gina Mckie from Clyde Radio who DJ’d and hosted, and also 29 who arranged the catering.
It was a great opportunity for us to showcase our new premises and for us to explain what it was we are going to be doing with the facility, which is this.
Our understanding is that the quality of training in aesthetic procedures and aesthetic medicine is generally poor. Training currently is aimed along a technical paint by numbers approach where practitioners are taught the How but not the Why. We believe that without the Why you can never progress beyond a simple procedure technician, repeating the same procedure and the same mistakes again and again. We believe in teaching people to think and to question. Teaching people the knowledge and skills to ask the questions and take the steps that will enable them to become proficient practitioners able to adapt and evolve to whatever case they have.
