The Aesthetic Training Academy exhibited at CCR Expo in London Olympia last week. CCR Expo is one of the must-attend conferences in aesthetic medicine, combining aesthetic exhibitions with an educational platform featuring live lectures and demonstrations from key opinion leaders.
Resident trainers Drs Simon & Emma Ravichandran took to the main stage to lecture to a packed audience on ‘Why we still see complications with injectables and how to manage them’.
The lecture went into detail on steps to take to avoid complications as much as possible and how to manage complications should they arise. Emma and Simon shared examples of complications on they have managed to share their knowledge with the crowd in the hope that the complications are not repeated.
Dr Emma Ravichandran BDS.MFDS then joined a panel of experts including Mr Dalvi Humzah, RN Emma Davies, Dr Wael Seoudy MD and Dr Rashmi Shetty in an ‘Ask the Experts’ segment. Members of the audience asked the panel questions on how to avoid complications with dermal fillers. It was a great discussion as members of the panel had different insights and methods on how they would treat and avoid complications.
CCR Expo was a brilliant opportunity to network with industry colleagues and spread the Aesthetic Training Academy name out south of the border! It was wonderful to speak to so many of you and we look forward to welcoming you at the Aesthetic Training Academy.
We have updated our website with course dates up until Summer 2018. Our next course at the training academy is ‘Getting Started in Aesthetic Medicine’ on the 30th & 31st of October. To find out more or to book your place on the course click here.
